Originally from Toa Baja, Puerto Rico, she moved to New Haven, CT at 16 after Hurricane Maria. A lifelong volleyball player, she began at age 12 and later competed at Eastern Connecticut State University, specializing as a middle blocker and right side.

Her versatility on the court earned over 10 tournament wins, and in 2025 she began coaching the 16s team at Pure Passion Volleyball. She continues to play competitively with her team “Las Cangris” and is passionate about mentoring young athletes and helping them grow both on and off the court.
