| Hernandez, former Head Varsity Volleyball coach at the Forman School, Head JV Volleyball coach and now current assistant varsity coach at the Taft School, was an outside hitter, defensive specialist, and libero on the Yale Women’s Club Volleyball team in her time at Yale College. As a three year letter winner, two year team captain, and Oronoque All-Division selection (as a senior) in high school, Hernandez brings over a decade of playing experience into her eighth year as a coach. This will be her seventh season* as the head coach of the New Haven Juniors 18U team and her ninth year overall with the program. *There was no season in 2021 due to the covid-19 pandemic. |

| DeFelice, former Head Volleyball Coach at Career Magnet and current assistant coach of the girls 18U team, was a four-year player at Wilbur Cross High School and one of the players on the very first New Haven Juniors team. A middle blocker who could hit on the pins and was willing to fill in whatever role necessary, DeFelice was integral to the first New Haven Juniors' team's success throughout an increasingly winning season. A player with a deep passion for the sport, DeFelice looks forward to working with the team on their offensive consistency. This will be her first season as a coach with New Haven Juniors, her third season as a coach of the sport, and her third year overall with the program. |
