New Haven Volleyball, along with Starlings New Haven JVBC, are hosting outdoor grass triples tournaments for junior age players this summer!

Athletes who are looking to improve their all-around game before high school season starts back up should take advantage of the unique opportunity that outdoor volleyball offers. With only three people on the court, and lots of ground to cover, outdoor grass triples tournaments offer players the opportunity to get multiple touches on serve receive, bump setting, hitting, serving, and even blocking – all while enjoying the beautiful summer weather.

Starlings and New Haven high school players play free. Players from outside the city of New Haven pay $15/team ($5 per player per tournament). All players must be registered on AVPAmerica.com and MUST pre-register online for their chosen date (we cannot set up a net if we don’t know you’re coming).

To register:
Register for a membership with AVPAmerica.com (please select New Haven Volleyball as your organization/region, fee is ~$20).

Under “Schedule”, click on schedule/results and select “New Haven Volleyball” under the “Organizations” filter.

Click on the date you wish to play and under the logo there is a “Register” option. Your teammates must also be register for AVP America in order for them to participate in the tournament.
