It’s almost that time of the year! That’s right – indoor summer clinic time is right around the corner! And what better way to partake than in a clinic that can get in-depth while still being affordable?

The position-specific clinics (one clinic per day from July 29th – August 1st, with August 2nd being a scrimmage day) are a chance for more experienced players (at least one year of experience with a club or school team) to review and strengthen the skills necessary to successfully perform all of the duties of their particular positions. Online pre-registration for the position-specific clinics is required! The position-specific clinic dates are as follows:

Monday, July 29th: Liberos and Defensive Specialists
Tuesday, July 30th: Setters
Wednesday, July 31st: Pin Hitters (outsides and right sides)
Thursday, August 1st: Middles
Friday, August 2nd: Scrimmage Day (first 21 girls to register for one or more of the above days have a guaranteed spot)

All clinics will be coached by Kiana Hernandez, current club director of Starlings New Haven and head coach of Starlings New Haven 18U.

The Scrimmage Day is the last day of Starlings New Haven’s summer clinics, and is open to the first 21 girls to register for any of the four position-specific clinics. Scrimmage day entails sorting players into teams based on their position and giving them opportunities to put their knowledge from the clinics into practice in a game-like situation.
